Department Information:
The Registrar’s Office is seeking a detail\-oriented and dependable Term Limited Date Entry Intern Full Time Temporary for 1 year. This position plays a key role in supporting transcript accuracy by reviewing discrepancies, assisting with corrections, and processing transcript requests. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast\-paced, high\-traffic office and demonstrates strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
This is a term\-limited position that is expected to last until August 2026 but may be adjusted based on the business needs of the office.
Description of Job:
Transcript Evaluation and Data Accuracy
- Review and analyze student transcript data to identify discrepancies or inconsistencies.
- Make authorized and appropriate corrections to student academic records.
- Flag and escalate complex transcript issues to permanent staff or relevant departments
- Process official transcript requests in compliance with established protocols and timelines.
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of student academic records at all times.
- Collaborate with the Registrar’s Office, IT, and other departments (e.g., Academic Affairs, Admissions, Transfer) to resolve transcript\-related errors.
- Support quality control efforts by cross\-checking reports and participating in validation processes.
- Follow documented procedures and actively contribute to the improvement of transcript\-related processes.
- Provide timely, professional, and courteous support to students, faculty, and staff regarding transcript services.
- Perform general administrative duties and special projects as needed to support the department.
- High attention to detail with demonstrated accuracy in data review or record\-keeping tasks.
- Ability to work independently and maintain focus in a fast\-paced, high\-volume environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with a diverse team.
- Comfortable using technology and learning new systems.
