Job Description

A private consultation clinic for mental health services in the Yonkers area. Ally Mental Health Counseling Services is seeking a Receptionist to join our well established and growing clinic.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Greet patients and confirm patient information

· Provide administrative support, conduct data entry and related activities

· Maintain and coordinate calendar of patient’s appointments

· Create and maintain files and type correspondence reports

· Pick up daily phone calls

· Listen to voicemails

· Create new clients

· Reschedule clients if needed

Requirements:

· Must be a high school graduate

· Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams. Experience is a plus

· Must have good organizational skills

· Must have good note taking skills

· Bilingual: English and Spanish is a plus

Job Type:

Hourly

Front Desk Duties:

· Open the office, check lights, tvs, phones, heat/AC are working as expected

· Inspect if everything is in order, identify and report anything unusual

· Take all calls until other staff join

· Check faxes and voicemails, messages and empty them, working in its content, this includes referrals, record request, preauthorization, insurance, agencies communications.

· Insurance verification: active vs Inactive patient before Providers see patient

· Explain and provide patient with consent forms

· Ask patient about insurance changes, update info about patient including but not limited to Name, Address, etc., ask about co\-pay and deductible

· Reopening and closing cases which have been inactive for more than 3 months etc.

· Make sure providers have a full schedule

· Assist providers in letters, emails, photocopies, scanning, ICANotes, PCs issues, water, ordering food, escorting patients to their offices, etc.

Job Type: Full\-time

Pay: $18\.00 \- $20\.00 per hour
