Overview
We are seeking a detail\-oriented and proactive Human Resources Assistant to support our HR department in various functions essential to effective workforce management. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with the Compliance and HR Officer and contribute to strategic initiatives such as talent acquisition, employee relations, staff supervision (as needed) the ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and familiarity with human resources systems and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist with talent acquisition processes including sourcing candidates through ATS platforms like Workday, Indeed, Auris, leveraging social media management tools.
- Support employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure smooth integration into the organization.
- Maintain accurate HR data entry and recordkeeping within HRIS systems. similar to Paylocity, and ADP.
- Coordinate employee evaluation processes and assist in performance management initiatives.
- Support compliance efforts, audits, writing employment letters, reviewing background checks etc.
- Contribute to project management activities related to change management, organization design, succession planning, and workforce planning.
- Facilitate communication between employees to improve employee relations.
- Assist with data collection for HR analytics and reporting purposes.
- Support administrative functions including data entry, contract management, and document preparation.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as iCIMS or Taleo is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously using project management tools.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—and the ability to handle sensitive information professionally.
- Proficiency in data collection, entry, analysis, and reporting using HRIS systems like PeopleSoft or Ceridian is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with benefits administration software such as Paychex or Dayforce is a plus.
