We are seeking a dynamic and detail\-oriented Bookkeeper/Executive Assistant to join our team! Responsibilities
- Manage day\-to\-day bookkeeping tasks using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or Quicken, including data entry, transaction categorization, and account reconciliation
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Perform bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable processing, and journal entries to maintain accurate general ledger records
- Conduct account analysis and general ledger reconciliation to verify financial accuracy and identify discrepancies
- Assist with budgeting processes and financial report writing to support organizational planning and decision\-making
- Handle payroll processing, tax filings, and other governmental accounting requirements with precision and timeliness
- Provide executive support by managing calendars, scheduling meetings, preparing correspondence, and coordinating administrative tasks efficiently
- Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms; familiarity with financial software is essential
- Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles, including double entry bookkeeping, debits \& credits, journal entries, and account reconciliation
- Knowledge of non\-profit accounting practices and governmental accounting standards is a plus
- Ability to perform bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliation, and general ledger accounting accurately
- Familiarity with financial concepts such as budgeting, financial report writing, accounts payable/receivable, and tax experience
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; proficiency in 10 key typing required for data entry tasks
- Strong communication skills to effectively analyze accounts and prepare clear financial reports
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast\-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
