Full job description

We are seeking a detail\-oriented and dependable Administrative Clerk to support daily operations in a structured legal office environment. This role focuses on case processing, scheduling coordination, document management, and procedural administrative support.This is not a paralegal role and does not involve legal research or drafting. The position is best suited for candidates who thrive in organized, process\-driven environments and are comfortable handling documentation and scheduling responsibilities.We are hiring immediately for a March 1 start date.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail
  • Create, tab, and organize paper and electronic case files
  • Maintain accurate document indexes and case records
  • Perform consistent data entry and document preparation
  • Schedule telephone conferences, virtual hearings, and in\-person meetings
  • Communicate with court reporters and external contacts regarding scheduling
  • Initiate administrative follow\-ups related to case proceedings
  • Respond to procedural inquiries under supervisory guidance
  • Track deadlines and maintain organized case materials
  • Operate standard office equipment (scanner, copier, mail equipment)
  • Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of administrative or clerical experience
  • Experience in a legal, court, or regulated office environment preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
