We have an immediate opening for an entry\-level healthcare professional. This position is ideal for someone with minimal experience in the medical field who is dependable, hard\-working, and comfortable in a fast\-paced environment.

The Laboratory Assistant position responsibilities include:

  • Collection and logging of specimens in accordance with laboratory and provider compliance standards
  • Inputting patient and testing data into computer logs while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality
  • Ensuring all specimens are stored appropriately to maintain specimen integrity and ease of reference
  • Packaging and shipping specimens to outside laboratories for additional testing following established laboratory protocols and regulatory requirements
  • Tracking laboratory supplies and ordering in a timely manner
  • Working with doctors and nurses to answer questions and provide appropriate collection supplies
  • Working with Client Services to assist with medical records requests in compliance with HIPAA and company policies
  • Traveling between multiple clinic locations throughout the DFW metroplex to support daily laboratory and clinical operations
  • Transporting specimens, supplies, and documentation safely and in compliance with provider, laboratory, and regulatory standards
  • The ideal candidate will be eager to learn and ready to take on daily challenges in a role that requires multitasking and strong attention to detail. This position involves standing and sitting for extended periods of time and lifting up to 20 pounds. Candidates must have legible handwriting, basic computer proficiency, strong organizational and communication skills, dependable transportation, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a criminal background check. Adherence to compliance, safety, and confidentiality standards is required at all times.This is a full\-time position across multiple clinic locations, with an estimated workload of 32–40 hours per week.     Job Type: Full\-time

    Pay: $18\.00 \- $21\.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
