SUPER HEROES WANTED!

Top\-tier litigation law firm SIDDIQUI LAW APC seeks a full\-time legal assistant/ paralegal for its Orange County (Costa Mesa, CA) Office. A successful applicant will possess a minimum of 2 years’ experience with a background in litigation. Requires knowledge of state and federal filing procedures and court rules, legal research, calendaring, trial preparation, legal drafting, and other legal assistant/ paralegal duties as assigned. Requires a strong communicator (written/ verbal skills), PC proficiency, and knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, and Timeslips.

Position requires a team player with strong work ethic. Salary depends on experience ($20\-$25\+/ hr.) Excellent benefits. Team environment.

Responsibilities:

\- Schedule appointments, meetings, and court hearings for attorneys

\- Manage MS Outlook calendars and deadlines to ensure timely completion of tasks

\- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of case information

\- Proofread and edit legal documents for accuracy and completeness

\- Prepare drafts of legal documents \- Filing, e\-filing, and service of documents in state and federal court

\- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, scanning, and photocopying

\- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents such as contracts, briefs, and pleadings

\- Organize and maintain client files and documents using document management systems

\- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases

\- Prepare correspondence and communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel

\-Trial preparation (witness lists, exhibits, pre\-trial motions, trial binders, witness interviews) \+ Trial/ Court hearings (assist trial attorney in Court)

Qualifications:

\- Previous experience as a legal assistant or in a similar role preferred; paralegal certificate preferred;

\- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

\- Proficient in using document management systems and other legal software

\- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

\- Attention to detail and strong proofreading abilities

\- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

\- Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures

\- Strong computer skills including data entry and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
