Role Description
This is a part\-time, hybrid role located in Charlotte, NC, for an Administrative Assistant to the Treasurer. This role involves providing comprehensive administrative support, managing clerical tasks, maintaining excellent communication via phone or email, and providing support to the Treasurer, Senior Pastor, and other staff members of the Church.
This role requires 10\-15 hours weekly, and will require working in person on Monday's. All other workload will be remote.
Treasurer Support
· Donor records: Maintain contribution records throughout the year and provide annual giving statements.
· Data management: Upload giving documents to Google Drive and enter both contributions and payables into the system of record.
· Documentation: scan and upload invoices and receipts to Goggle Drive to support payments and expense reimbursements.
· Tax Compliance: Track sales tax and complete all necessary sales tax refund documentation.
· Qualifications
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace tools.
· Experience with QuickBooks or other bookkeeping software to manage financial records accurately.
· Strong clerical skills, including data entry, document scanning, and processing invoice and reimbursement requests.
· Experience in Administrative Assistance, including calendar management and support for leadership
· Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain confidentiality
· Previous experience in a similar administrative role is preferred
· High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree is a plus
