- Manage day\-to\-day bookkeeping tasks using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Double, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations to maintain precise financial data.
- Prepare and process journal entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to support financial operations.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to verify the accuracy of financial statements.
- Assist with payroll processing, and compliance activities related to governmental accounting standards (GAAP).
- Support budgeting activities by tracking expenses and assisting in financial report writing.
- Maintain organized records of all financial documents, including invoices, receipts, and reports, ensuring easy retrieval for audits or reviews.
- Collaborate with team members on technical accounting issues such as double\-entry bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and general ledger accounting.
- Provide operational support by managing administrative tasks like data entry, email drafting, follow\-ups, phone inquiries, and document management.
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, preferably with construction/trades and/or inventory.
- Strong proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Double, Asana or similar platforms; experience with GAAP standards is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of financial concepts including debits \& credits, journal entries, account reconciliation, and bank reconciliation processes.
- Demonstrated ability to perform balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger accounting accurately.
- Experience in payroll processing and accounts payable/receivable management is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast\-paced setting.
- Basic proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office tools such as Excel (including 10 key typing) for financial report writing and data analysis.
