- 3–5\+ years of hands\-on QuickBooks Online experience (Advanced level)
- 2\+ years bookkeeping experience in construction or trades
- Strong understanding of:
- Job costing
- Progress billing
- Change orders
- Subcontractor payments
- Vendor management
- Payroll processing
- Experience with bank and credit card reconciliations
- Tech\-savvy and comfortable learning new software
- CRM experience (JobProgress, Leap, or similar preferred)
- Typing speed minimum 60\+ WPM
- Strong organizational and follow\-up skills
- Daily reconciliation of accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Maintain accurate job costing inside QuickBooks Online
- Process payroll and maintain employee records
- Manage subcontractor payments and 1099 tracking
- Prepare monthly Profit \& Loss, Balance Sheet, and job cost reports
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Monitor cash flow and assist leadership with financial planning
- Make collection calls on overdue accounts
- Coordinate vendor payments and manage financial documentation
- Support compliance documentation (COIs, W9s, licenses)
- Maintain organized digital records and filing systems
- Assist with CRM data integrity and financial syncing
- Help improve financial systems and processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred (not required if experience is strong)
- 3–5\+ years bookkeeping experience
- Advanced QuickBooks Online knowledge (Desktop not required)
- Strong understanding of construction accounting practices
- Excellent communication skills

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, tech\-savvy, and detail\-driven Bookkeeper \& Office Administrator to manage our financial operations and support daily office functions.
This is not an entry\-level bookkeeping position. We are looking for someone who understands construction accounting, job costing, and QuickBooks Online at an expert level.
The right candidate will be proactive, systems\-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast\-paced environment where accuracy is critical.
