Role Summary
We’re hiring a commission\-only Sales Representative to generate and close new business for NorthStar Agents. You can sell in person or over the phone—whatever works—so long as you close deals. This role is best for someone who can prospect, qualify, present value, handle objections, and close.
Important: You only get paid by closing and collecting. There is no salary, hourly pay, or guaranteed draw.
What You’ll Sell
- Custom websites and web rebuilds
- Partner portals \+ admin panels (connected systems)
- Workflow automations and business integrations
- AI phone agents (receptionist \+ sales/appointment agents)
- Ongoing monthly maintenance/support packages
- Prospect and generate leads (walk\-ins, door\-to\-door, networking, referrals, cold calling, email/DM outreach—your choice)
- Identify decision\-makers and qualify opportunities (need, timeline, budget, fit)
- Present NorthStar Agents solutions clearly and professionally
- Run discovery calls or in\-person pitches and propose next steps
- Close deals and obtain signed agreements
- Maintain a simple pipeline with follow\-ups and status updates
- Coordinate a clean handoff to the delivery team after closing
- Represent NorthStar Agents professionally in\-person and on calls
- Examples: build fees, setup/implementation fees, project fees.
- Commission is calculated on net revenue collected (after refunds/chargebacks).
- One\-time commission: 20% of $10,000 \= $2,000
- MRC commission: 6% of $500 \= $30/month (paid monthly while collected, up to 12 months)
- Proven ability (or strong confidence) selling services and closing
- Comfortable speaking with business owners/decision\-makers
- Able to sell in person and/or by phone
- Strong follow\-up habits and basic organization (pipeline tracking)
- Professional communication, appearance, and reliability
- Reliable transportation (if doing in\-person outreach)
- Phone \+ email access for outreach and follow\-ups
- Experience selling marketing, web development, SaaS, automation, or business services
- Experience selling to restaurants, retail, medical, or appointment\-based businesses
- Consistent outbound activity and follow\-up cadence
- Steady pipeline of qualified leads
- Closed/won deals with signed agreements and collected payments
- Clean handoffs with accurate scope and expectations

Commission Structure
* 20% commission on one\-time project revenue collected
* 6% commission on Monthly Maintenance Revenue (MRC) collected
MRC is the client’s monthly maintenance fee paid to NorthStar Agents for ongoing support/updates/monitoring and related services.Payout Terms
* One\-time commission is paid after funds clear (or per milestone if the agreement is milestone\-based).
* MRC commission is paid monthly as the maintenance fee is collected, typically for the first 12 months the account remains active and in good standing.
