Day to Day

Indeed’s Marketplace Data Platform, part of the AI Platform group, is a data and feature platform that supports Indeed’s most critical customer experiences, powering recommendations for both job seekers and employers. We deliver technology and processes that ingest data from client teams, transform and normalize this data so that it is available to be leveraged in feature building, and ultimately surface APIs for folks to read this data in for representation or matching use cases. We are responsible for making it easier for our teams to innovate quickly and solve important customer problems with our data.

As the Senior Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for 2 critical teams within the Marketplace Data Platform, User Onboarding and Data Ingestion. With User Onboarding, you will be focused on driving client adoption of our platform capabilities and data through support, documentation, and tooling \- analogous to a developer portal experience. With Data Ingestion, you will prioritize getting all essential actions and events from key product teams into the system and available to be used by downstream clients or processing, namely data scientists for building recommendation models.

You will define the platform vision, strategy, and direction for your teams, and partner closely with cross\-functional team members to evolve the Marketplace Data Platform so that it will serve Indeed for years to come. You will define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, and partner with other engineering and science teams to enable and empower their innovations via the platform. You are comfortable learning new things on the fly and you make pragmatic choices to balance the value delivered with scalability, speed to market, and long\-term maintainability. You will think deeply about the needs of users and care about the developer experience of the teams building products on top of your platform. Most of all, you love solving hard technical challenges to make a difference in the lives of other people, whether they be job seekers, employers, or fellow Indeedians.
