Oncept Inc. is a boutique consulting company offering telecom advisory services such as global benchmarking, strategic sourcing and full lifecycle management. Our consultants are truly customer success managers allowing our clients to focus on their core competencies while we proactively support the entire lifespan of communication assets including procurement, delivery, inventory, invoice management and dispute as well as decommissioning.
Our consultants are designed to be an extension of IT, legal and accounting teams within our clients. The skills necessary for the position include strong analytical, financial acumen and expertise in telecom/IT inventory management.
Core Technical Skills
Data Analysis \& Auditing: Ability to analyze large, complex datasets to identify invoice errors, overcharges, and savings opportunities.
TEM Software Proficiency: Familiarity with platforms like TEMIA, Tangoe, Calero\-MDSL, Sakon, or Cass Information Systems.
Telecom Knowledge: Understanding of wireline, wireless/mobility, internet services, and complex carrier billing structures.
Financial Management: Skills in budgeting, expense allocation, and cost tracking.
Software Skills: Advanced Excel, and business intelligence tools like Power BI.
Consulting \& Functional Skills
Vendor Management \& Negotiation: Negotiating contract terms and resolving disputes with service providers.
Process Improvement: Streamlining procurement, invoice processing, and auditing workflows.
Project Management: Managing the full lifecycle of TEM implementation or optimization projects.
Asset Management: Tracking inventory of IT and telecom assets (devices, circuits, services).
Soft Skills
Communication: Clearly explaining complex data and savings recommendations to stakeholders.
Problem\-Solving: Identifying cost\-cutting opportunities and resolving complex billing disputes.
Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in high\-volume, detailed auditing processes.
We are currently seeking a skilled individual who takes ultimate responsibility and pride supporting their clients; who is willing to support all the functions inherent in telecom expense management; and is a team player. The position is a work\-from\-home engagement. A minimum of 3\-year experience in Telecom Expense Management or telecom consulting is required. Pay: $85,000\.00 \- $90,000\.00 per year
