Licensed Clinic Supervisor
Full time (Monday \- Friday, day shift), no nights, no on\-call, no weekends, no holidays
Seeking a Licensed Clinic Supervisor for our practice who provides clerical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care. What you will do in this role:
May have direct patient care duties.
Helpsestablish/implement goals,objectives, policies,proceduresand systems for the assigned clinical areas
Participates in the development and implementation of clinical plans.
Selects, trains/orients, and supervises departmental personnel. Responsible for work assignment and daily operations
Evaluates performance and recommends merit increases, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
Resolvesproblems in clinical areas and ensures compliance with regulations and standards
Monitorsand controls clinical expenditures to remain within budget
Servesas liaison between clinic and external agencies
Works with medical staff to ensure quality patient care and services are provided.
Participates in professional development activities to keepcurrenthealth care trends and practices.
What Qualifications you will need:
EDUCATION:
Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Program or a degree or diploma from an accredited school of practical or vocation nursing isrequired.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimumof one year of experience in a medical office, acutecareor clinical outpatient setting isrequired.Previoussupervisory experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE:
Current and Active Medical Assistant certification (Acceptable certifications are RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, or NCRMA certification/ABR\-OE credentials) or active LPN or LVN license isrequired. CPR Certification required.
